Ello!

Sorry I’ve been super busy, sorry for not posting since Feb, like ten days ago lol.

BTW there was an EARTHQUAKE IN VICTORIA ON FRIDAY NIGHT at 8:56pm!  I felt it!  It was 4.6 or 4.7 on the Richter Scale.  I was freaking out because I’ve never experienced an earthquake before.  Luckily, no damage was done, no lives lost.

I can’t think what to post about, so here’s a little vid to keep you entertained.  We watched it in Science.  We’ve been learning about the brain.  The right side of the brain controls the left side of your body, and vice-versa for the left side of the brain.  The left side is the maths science etc side, and the right sie is the creative side.

So we watched this video to see what side of the brain we were using mostly.  If the girl in the video spins CLOCKWISE, you are using the right-side of your brain – if she spins COUNTER-CLOCKWISE, you are using the left side of the brain.

Note down in a comment what side you are using, then see if you can get her to change direction (hint: change your thoughts) and make her stand completely still! (I couldn’t do it, but some people can)

Enjoy.

If you are wondering, it span clockwise for me, and after ages started to spin A-C, then I could change it pretty easily. ***SPOILER***l_o_o_k__a_t_h_e_r__f_e_e_t***

Whew, Josh.. you had me worried there. I mean, the last comment you had said something like “the fires are getting worse” and then we didn’t hear from you for a while.
Oh well, all is well. :)

That was so cool! First it went clockwise, then anti-clockwise, and after a few tries I could change it :P

Whoa, I thought I commented here last night…?

Anyway, Josh, how’re you? I’m great thanks!

And about the earthquake, I didn’t feel it… But when I went to tutoring in Flemington the next day (Saturday), everyone was talking about it… Heh.

    Ciao.
