Friendship! ™

I haven’t done a deep post for quite a while, and I’ve been itching to do one, so here it goes.

During the Victorian Bushfires earlier this month, many lives were lost.  The bushfires brought out the best in alot of us.  Geneorosity, caringness, mateship.  Mateship is the same as friendship.

As we go through our lives, we will make countless friends.  We will grow closer and apart as time goes on, and we may lose some friends.

Friends are always there for each other, in thick and thin.

Leona Lewis is a great singer.  Her song, “Footprints in the sand”, shows an example of friendship.  Here are the lyrics for the song:

The chorus goes like this:

“I promise you, I’m always there.

When your heart is filled with sadness and despair.

I’ll carry you when you need a friend.

You’ll find my footprints in the sand.”

It’s an awesome song, and the lyrics speak friendship and love strongly.  Friends are always there for each other.

Another song which demonstrates friendship is “Here I Am”, once again by Leona Lewis.  The chorus is:

“Well, if you need a place where you can run.  

If you need a shoulder to cry on.

Well, I’ll always be your friend

When you need a shelter from the rain

When you need a healer for your pain

I will be there time and time again.

When you need someone to love you

Here I am”

Once again, a beautiful song.  Friends are there for each other through thick and thin.

Remember that during the next week, and through the rest of your lives.  Friends always stick together and are always there for each other.
