Blog In Review: Your Here II ™
(2nd post of the day)
So, I’ve decided to write a review on a blog that a lot of people have been talking about.
It’s owned by Brett, and the site is Your Here II.
The review is broken up into three sections: Design, Content and Overall.
Design
Your Here II uses a simple design. The green Regulus theme is used, and the colour scheme seems to be green, orange and white.
The custom header is colourful, and attracts attention. The design is straight-forward but effective.
The colour used in the text is varied, from green to orange to blue. Red and purple is occasionally used.
Score – ***1/2 — it’s simple and effective, but nothing spectacular.
Content
Around four posts are made each week. They vary in length, but most are relatively short. They contain pictures and videos.
The posts engage the reader and encourage them to contribute to discussion. Spelling and grammar are good, though there are mistakes here and there.
The graphics used are sharp, and I suspect some is made by Brett, though a lot of graphics and videos are not given credit. He uses a lot of emoticons, and his posts are written with enthusiasm and knowledge.
He has several pages, many of them original, with bold graphic titles and text in various colours, ranging from green to red.
Content rating – ***1/2 – it’s good, but he needs to work on writing longer posts. Longer posts are better than almost daily, short posts. He also needs to give credit where needed.
Overall Review
Your Here II is a colourful and lively blog, with good posts and good graphics. It has a simple design that is effective and appealing, but the colour scheme is hard to decipher. Brett needs to work on writing longer posts and giving credit where needed. This blog is going to be big, and I’m happy I got the chance to review it.

Which is a good thing for me because if people advertise on my site I know they’re doing it because they think my site will give them hits meaning they think my site is good =]

Thanking about reviews, it’s funny me doing a review of another blog when if someone did a review of my blog it’d get a 1 for design and stuff lol. I need to fix the blog’s look because it looks ugly =] But ugly is the new beautiful.
Ja. We disected eyes last year… and, to you the truth, it was horrible… It was compulsory for us to wear gloves!

Whoa, does this “reply” comment system only work with this theme or did you use some sort of plug-in? Heh, it’s a bit like the one on Keith Spot…
It’s a new WordPress Feature. It doesn’t work too well with this theme, though.
Opus asked how come he can only see x amount of comments.
It’s because I’ve made it so you see 20 comments per page (to reduce lagging).
