This is Post #98!  Hooray!  It’s been a very long time since I’ve posted three posts in three days!!!

I’d like to say that the Author Contest is cancelled because I feel I don’t need one anymore.  Sorry to Stellar…she was the only one to enter and I feel really bad so I have added her as a temporary author!

Teamwork is a word used a lot.  But what exaactly does team mean?

What does team stand for?

Together

Everyone

Acheives

More

Together Everyone Achieves More.

There was a competition in America to find out how much weight a horse could pull.  The first pulled 400 kg and the second pulled 450 kg.  The organizers decided to see how much the horses could pull together.

How much do you tihnk?  850kg?

They managed to pull over 1000kg between them.

Being in a team means everyone has to participate.

If one person slacks off, the whole team may fall.

Together Everyone Achieves More.

Knowing your teammates inside and out makes a better team.

If you want to be part of a successful team, be it a sports team, a team of leaders, etc, you need to know your team mates strengths and weaknesses.

Team mates are there for each other through thick and thin, much like friends.

Together Everyone Achieves More.

Working as a team means everyone can achieve much much more.

But that’s not all!  I’ve decided to re-post an old deep post.  This one is titled “Walk In Someone Else’s Shoes” from March 3rd, 2008.

Imagine this.  There’s this really tall dude next to you with huge feet.  You and him have to swap shoes and wear each others shoes for a whole entire day.  Imagine you with your smallish feet in those humoungous shoes.  That would be uncomfortable.

Now imagine that you are that tall dude with huge feet, and you have to wear tiny shoes for teh whole day.  Imagine how uncomfortable THAT would be.

You may think that the new kid at school is a psycho or something is wrong with him mentally, because it appears he isn’t too smart.  But think deeper than that.  That person may be experiencing family difficulties or finalcial difficulties or something.

That person might be lonely and sad and feel left out and alone.

Think about how you would feel if you were that person.

Before you judge someone or something else, think what it would be like if you were that person being judged.  Walk in someone elses shoes for a day, and see what their life is about.
