The Author Contest!

Hi!  How ya doin’?

I have news in the Author Contest.  Entries are now closed.  We received a grand total of 17 entries, which is awesome!

What happens now?

I have added all 17 people who entered as “Contributers” on the site.  Contributers can post, but before their post is shown to the public, I (the admin) must approve it. 

The task for the 17 contributers is to make a post.  Here are the guidelines:

-Less than 500 words

-Your post must not contain who you are, your site, or anything like that.

-It can not be an introductory post (introducing yourself)

The point of this is to keep your identity a secret.  You can post about anything you like, whether it be about the weather, a current issue, something funny, about your pet giraffe, anything!  As long as you do not mention who you are in the post or anything that people can figure out who you are.

Those people need to have made the post by Friday, May 9th. 

On Saturday, May 10th, I will make another post regarding the Author Contest.  In the post will be everyone’s posts that they have made.  But nobody will know who’s post is who’s. 

You are not allowed to tell people what post is yours.

Next week, there will be a poll for which post was the best.  The results of that poll will determine who the new authors will be.

To sum it all up:

~All the author contest entrants are added as contributers

~The contributers must make a post about anything they like as long as they keep their identitiy a secret

~The posts must be made by May 9th

~On May 10th, all the posts will be posted, but no-one will know who posted what.  There will be a poll which determines which post is the best, and the winning post author becomes the site author!

So, contributers, make those posts!  If you fail to make a post by Friday, May 9th, or you reveal your identity, you will be disqualified and won’t be allowed to be an author.
