Okay, I utterly hate this WordPress dashboard thign too, but there not changeing it, which made me figure out how to make things more familiar. It helped me
Arnt those bright colors just REALLY bright and diffrent than the old one?
Want to look at something other than that horrid color scheme, something like the old dashboard?
Go to Profile, Then Color Schemes, then Change it to Classic.

Add one teaspoon of salt to a bowl and stir for approximately 2 hours.
